how to upgrade from Deluxe to Home & Business?

    Theoretically, following this article should get you there:
    Locate the blue text "Upgrade" and click it to expand the section. Carefully follow the instructions.

    and just to clarify -
    it's the same exact QDF data file and the same exact Quicken program.
    The different "versions" merely enable or disable certain aspects of the Quicken software,
    and those version features are associated with your Quicken ID...
