Why does the "memo" column automatically repeat the "payee" when I download transactions?

This just started recently and I don't think I changed any settings. Before this occurred, the date, payee and and amount would download but the memo would be blank.

There are a couple of other threads on this issue so you are not alone in seeing it. And one of the Moderators has been able to duplicate the issue and reported it to the appropriate team to look into.:In the meantime, at least until this issue gets resolved, you might want to consider checking the box for "Don't update memo when downloading" on the Online Services tab of Account Details. Perhaps that will stop the payee from being entered into the memo field.
