Awful Support Experience - Suspect Guidance on Norton 360 and Blaming Ally Bank

I just had an awful call with Quicken support (Andrea). I have had problems with one my CD accounts (one of several) at Ally Bank not getting transactions and the same with one of several Schwab accounts.
She blamed Ally bank for the issue. For Schwab, she pointed to my use of Norton 360 and said I should disable Norton 360 whenever I use Quicken since it in can corrupt my data file. I asked for the documentation and she pointed me to an article on firewalls https://www.quicken.com/support/configuring-firewalls which has nothing about Norton 360 impacting the integrity of the Quicken data file.
After doing a super validate, both problems cleared up. I did that after ending the call with support. When I tried it w her on the line, it bombed out.
Why is Quicken support providing such bad guidance?

Hello @BarryMo,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about this negative interaction with support, though I apologize that this was your experience.
We will go ahead and pull the interaction for further review and forward it to our Support Management team so we can provide the agent with an appropriate coaching opportunity.
We sincerely apologize for the experience! Thank you.-Quicken Anja
