Mortgage transactions

I originally setup my mortgage in Quicken manually, then decided to download the transactions from my financial institution. Is there any way to merge the 2 accounts in order to record past activity?

    Mortgage loan accounts that are setup for downloading don't allow you to see the register so there isn't any way you are going to be able to merge it with any other account.  If you were to change it to a manual account then you could use this procedure to move transactions between accounts.

    That clears things up considerably. Too bad this option is unavailable, fortunately it’s not too late to revert to manual entry. Thanks for your help…
