How trigger new Chase connection update from DC to EWC+?

I've already accomplish most of the items discussed here in this forum. I successfully reauthorized my accounts and Chase is now granted access to my Quicken accounts. All the accounts are linked and working fine. Quicken seems happy and isn't prompting me to do anything, not even when I do a One Step Update. But when I look at my Chase accounts in Quicken it says they are still using Direct Connect. How do I manually start/trigger the upgrade to EWC+?

Ignore what is on the Chase website for Direct Connect.
The authorizing for Direct Connect and Express Web Connect + are completely separate.
In fact, I have had a test file with Express Web Connect + working at the same time I have my real data file still setup with Direct Connect.
And it has always been the case that for Direct Connect, once you enable it, you can't disable it yourself. You have to call the number they gave and have it disabled. But now that they know that they are going to remove Direct Connect they don't even bother with that. They just tell you that the connection method is changing. Which makes sense since after the cutoff date they will just disable it for everyone at once.
Note that Direct Connect is at:

And Express Web Connect is at:

You lost me. Everyone has been saying Chase is converting from Direct Connect to EWC+. I don't think it matters to me if I can them both at the same time. How do I get my Quicken register to say I'm using EWC+? Are you saying I don't need to do that change? I'm still using my old accounts. It never created the "new" accounts, so no duplicate accounts or transactions. I went to the 2 links you gave but it didn't clear up anything for me. Thanks. What do I need to do to be ready for when DC dies?0

I successfully reauthorized my accounts and Chase Quicken is now granted access to my Quicken Chase accounts.there are 3 basic steps -1 - in Quicken DE-activate ALL Chase online accounts in your Quicken software2 - log into the Chase online website, and RE-Authorize Quicken for accessing your Chase banking accounts
3 - in Quicken, ADD ACCOUNTS for your Chase accounts - you should be able to select LINK TO EXISTING

You do need to get to the point where the accounts say Express Web Connect + not Direct Connect.
You are the second person that has said that they went through the whole process, but the accounts didn't change from Direct Connect to Express Web Connect +. I'm not sure what is going on with that.
One thing that did just occur to me is to check to seen if Quicken didn't just create new accounts that are setup for Express Web Connect +. If that happened then the procedure I would take is move any missing transactions from the old accounts to the new ones using this procedure, and then delete the old accounts.

If that isn't the problem, I'm not sure what to do.
I will state this comment, on @Ps56k2 comment.Ps56k2 said:bachastain said:I've already accomplish most of the items discussed here in this forum. I'm not sure it is needed, but what I think @Ps56k2 meant is that you would disable downloading by Quicken so that it won't think you have already done it and not actually do anything in Quicken.
You would do this on this webpage:
https://secure05ea.chase.com/web/auth/dashboard#/dashboard/securityCenter/detail/requestLinkedApplications
This is what it looks like when it is deactivated/inactive:
