Keep getting asked to update my chase connections on a closed account

I'm having the same issue as this thread:

Is there anyway to remove connection information after an account is marked "Closed". When I go to the online services tab of this account, all it shows is "this account is closed".
There has to be a better way than having to do a data file copy and reconfigure all my connections.

This is an example of why I never close any accounts. In Quicken Mac they allow you to reopen them, but not in Quicken Windows, which is ridiculous in itself.
But there is one way around this. Use this procedure to move all the transactions to a new offline account, and then delete the old account.

The definition of "closed" for an account means no more downloads or connections to the FI itself. Seems another opportunity for Quicken to improve itself because it is contradicting itself. This should not be happening when you "close" an account, which is a natural action and why you should do this when you have closed that account at the FI. Quicken should investigate and respond to this error.0

Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a shot as a work around. I'll probably stop marking accounts closed going forward... The better option would be for me to be able to re-open an account. But who knows if/when that would make the priority list.0
