How would you handle a credit card that changes to a different bank?

Would you create a new, separate account and close the old one or change the financial institution associated with the card? I'm thinking the latter. Can you provide the steps to take? Thank you in advance!

    Hello @DexterB,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your question.

Before you begin any troubleshooting or make any changes, we advise that you please save a backup of your data file first (just in case).

Yes, you can simply change the financial institution associated with the card. To do so, you will first disconnect the account from the old financial institution. Then, reconnect the account with the new financial institution.

Please follow the instructions provided found in this support article to disconnect and reconnect.

    I hope this helps!
