    Hello @jledesma01

I am sorry to hear about this problem with minimize/maximize menu option. Thank you for speaking with us about this here on the Quicken Community.

I was unable to reproduce any errors with respect to the minimize/maximize option, myself. What, specifically, are you noticing when trying to make use of this feature? Also, have you tried restarting your computer after this happens? You may additionally try uninstalling the Quicken software using the steps listed in this Support Article, then deleting Quicken from the Program Files (x86) folder. You may then reinstall the software after following those steps using the steps listed here.

I am eager to hear back from you about this.

    Thank you,

    Quicken Jared

Works for me, too.  If the screen is "maximized" even if the "minimize" icon is showing, it might just be that the "minimized" screen is no different in size then the "maximized" screen.  That's happened to me a few times.  Hunt around the edges of the "minimized" screen to see if you get the arrow with arrow heads on either end so can drag to screen to a smaller size.

I just replaced my old pc window 10 which had Quicken Premier.
My current HP Probook windows 11 pro, I installed with Quicken Premier.
I also had to reinstall Quicken Premier last month onto my new HP Probook.
Given the 3 events, the Quicken Max/Min does not work, and has not worked for years.
When I press the square button it changes from 1 box to a two-box icon. The window Quicken is in does not get smaller footprint or a larger footprint.

Quicken saves the screen size incorrectly.  When done correctly an application remembers the last non-maximized size.  So let's say you size quicken's window to half of the screen and then close quicken.  When you reopen it it will be at that size.  But now let's say you maximize the window and then close quicken.  Quicken saves the window size maximized.  So now you open this quicken and you hit the button to restore down.  Well since quicken has stored this window size maximized maximized and restore down are now the exact same thing.  Which means that you have to hit the restore down button and then you have to resize the window again.  I have complained about this many times but as it has never been fixed.
