Schwab account market values correct but Quicken reports are overstated

The values shown for my Schwab investments are correct and match the values shown on the Schwab website. However, any Quicken investment or net worth report I generate overstates all the Schwab accounts by thousands of dollars. This is not true for any of my other checking, savings or credit card accounts. I see that this problem was reported by a user in December 2021 but the matter was closed without being resolved. This issue is new to me within the last few days. Does anyone have a solution? I should note that all the Schwab investments are in mutual funds with only pennies in the cash account.

Hello @KCA_606,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about your issue, though I apologize that you are experiencing this.
To start with, I suggest that you please try validating and/or super validating your data file. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.
Validate:- File
- Validate and Repair File...
- Validate File
- Click OK
- Close the Data Log
- Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
- Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.
Super Validate:- File
- Hold CTRL + Shift and click Validate and Repair File...
- Super Validate File
- Click OK
- Close the Data Log
- Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
- Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.
Let me know how it goes!

None of these steps worked. This is disappointing since I have been using these reports for years to compute my investment return and now I need to figure out how to compute my YTD investment performance outside of Quicken. The results I am getting using the Quicken investment reports make no sense. The report I just printed overstates my true market value by over $17k.0

Hello @KCA_606,
Thank you for attempting those troubleshooting steps, though I apologize that they did not assist us in reaching a resolution.
Next, I suggest attempting to restore from a backup that was created before you begin to notice this issue with your investment reports. You may follow this link for more information regarding restoring from backups.
I hope this helps!
