Capital One Reauthorization Not Linking

I am getting a prompt to reauthorize my capital one account. When I do, it does not link to the existing account and downloads all of the transactions again forming a new account. It never gives me the option to link the transactions to an existing account. This keeps resulting in a new account being created with 86 days worth of new transactions. I don't want to recategorize several months of transactions. Please let me know what is going wrong.
