LPL Financial with Mac Quicken

I am using the latest version of Mac Quicken Subscription. I am able to add my LPL Financial account and it works well with one exception – the value for individual bonds are off by an order of magnitude. That is, if a bond is valued at say $10,000, it will show in Quicken with a value of $100,000. Other types of investments (stocks, mutual funds, etc.) have the correct value.

I called Quicken Support which had me create a new Quicken file and add the LPL Financial account. That resulted in the same behavior, which Quicken said demonstrated that the problem was incorrect values provided by LPL.

I called LPL’s Tech Support and was told they do not support this type of connection. I believe Mac Quicken uses the Express Web Connect method to make the connections (https://www.quicken.com/support/how-quicken-connects-your-bank).

Would anyone know where the problem resides – LPL or Quicken – and what would be the best path to get it resolved?

    Hello @macdude

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.

Due to the same error occurring in the main file and the test file, this issue would lie with LPL Financial. You will need to reach out to them for further support. It is recommended to request to speak to a tier 2 representative or a supervisor as they are generally more familiar with third-party applications such as Quicken.

I apologize that I could not be of more assistance.
