Can I update - Quicken H&B 2011 Release R 1 Canada [edit]

Here's the FAQ about upgrading old versions of Q.BUT, I believe that the article is US-focused and I don't believe that it's entirely applicable to QCan.It might, however, give you some ideas about what's needed for your upgrade. And, your data should come over intact.BTW, what exactly do you mean by "the most recent update was 2011"? Because QCan has a 2022 product out. Please do HELP, About Quicken and tell us what product/year you're running and the BUILD of Q?

@NotACPA I didn't see a link to the FAQ. Was it this one? How to use an intermediate version to convert to a newer version

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

First off, lets clarify what release of Quicken you are using. What is shown when you do Help->About Quicken from in the program since Quicken 99 would not have updated to 2011, you may have upgraded to 2011, but that would mean that you were now running 2011, not 99.

Correct. When I checked the About Quicken it shows I'm running Quicken Home & Business 2011 (Canadian)0

According to the About information I'm running Quicken H&B 2011 Release R 1 [20.1.1.43] Canada0

Canadian subscription Quicken (2017+) should have no problem opening and converting your 2011 data file, just make sure that you purchase the Canadian version and not the US version.

One shouldn't try to use Quicken Windows Deluxe US for updating Quicken Windows Canadian. It has a completely different code history.
