No way to cancel a CheckPay payment

This is an issue that has been around since CheckPay replaced the previous system.
When a CheckPay check is not cashed - there is no way to cancel or remove it from the register. This is problematic. Quicken please fix this!

Based on the issue you described, it would be better suited for you to please reach out to Quicken Support by phone or chat directly for further assistance. An escalation will likely be required as our Tier 2/escalation teams may be able to remove the payment in question.

AFAIK, Check Pay checks are drawn directly against your Checking account.
Until they are cashed, the money is still in your bank account and the bank has no record of this check.
The order to generate a Check Pay check is considered an Online transaction, because it is sent to some server for processing. Once sent, it cannot be withdrawn or voided. It's considered a completed online transaction.
The only ways to reverse this transaction are: Delete the transaction. Or enter a reversing credit transaction into your Quicken checking account register, to correct the balance.
