Windows Canada R45.xx Release

Options
The latest Quicken for Windows Canada release R45.18 is now available to all Quicken Canada customers.

IMPORTANT:
Before you take this update, we recommend you perform a One Step Update to ensure that your data is synced to the cloud and also make a backup of your data file.

What’s Included:

What’s New
  • Created the Other Investments option as part of the Add Account feature. The Other Investments option can be used for setting up Stock Options, RSUs and other manual investments using Quicken Home & Business.
  • For investment customers (Quicken Home & Business), Real-time quotes are now available. Real-time quotes can be turned on or off using Edit → Preferences → Investments.
  • Compare to Register now features icons for the frequently used tasks of Go to bank website, One step update, and Last download information.

What’s Improved

  • We’ve made the Dashboard easier to work with and more customizable to suit your needs. You can use Customize Dashboard to create and name new cards using the Duplicate and Rename functions. This way, you can filter by accounts or dates to show you the data you want to see on the cards you choose with names that are meaningful to you.
  • We’ve upgraded the Find and Replace tool in the register to allow you to search using find multiple criteria and replace values.
  • To make it easier to add attachments such as receipts, checks, and statements to transactions, you can now use drag & drop to directly attach a file to a transaction instead of going through the multi-step process of using the attach file dialog.
  • We improved the matching of downloaded securities in certain cases where there was a near-match on CUSIP.
  • Closed accounts no longer appear on the list of accounts to select for synchronization.
  • For Home & Business users, Quicken now populates shipping addresses on invoices when they are available.
  • Snapshots of all of a transaction’s attachments will now display in the Transaction Attachments screen.
  • Users can now schedule bill reminders for every x days using the Daily frequency option. For example, if a bill comes every 30 days instead of monthly.

What’s Fixed

  • An issue in which manually entered transactions may not match a download transaction when using the Quicken companion apps.
  • Synchronization issues resulting in deleted tags between mobile and desktop.
  • In certain cases the categories displayed in the Cash Flow report did not match those displayed in the Current Budget report.
  • Display issue with Investments Portfolio View.
  • The Buy/Sell ESPP Shares wizard displayed different stocks for some customers when switching from the Easy Step tab to the Summary tab.
  • Inability to delete blank investment transactions related to a paycheck.
  • When synching manual accounts to the cloud, multiple Other headings were displayed rather than grouping all manual accounts under a single Other heading.
  • The Expense Reminder menu option used for manually adding reminders was not appearing in the Calendar.
  • Some customers had the date changed on reminders after entering them.
  • Bill and Income Reminders did not expand in Compare to Register for disconnected investment & banking accounts..
  • Issues using Un-match this transaction when automatic matching occurred incorrectly after downloading new transactions.

Thank you!
