Since the upgrade my TD Ameritrade accounts are not downloading # of shares or the price on transactions. I'm only getting the commission and the total amount

    Hello @pbrush_,

    Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.

    First, I suggest creating a test file and adding the TD Ameritrade account(s) to see if the same issue occurs with the information that downloads. You can create a test file by navigating to File > New > Start from Scratch. Please keep in mind that it is recommended to save a backup before proceeding with troubleshooting steps (just in case).

    Let me know how it goes!

    Hi @pbrush_

    Can you confirm that you are a Mac user?  Also, which version of Quicken are you currently running?

    Hi @pbrush_

    If you are NOT a Mac user - then you incorrectly posted in a MAC thread - that makes a big difference when trying to analyze issues and help posters, like you.

    Since you are a Windows user, I now believe that you may be seeing issues that are connected to your update to version R45.13 as noted in several recent threads - including this one LINK.

    I suggest that you revert to a prior version - R44.28 -  by following these steps:

    1) Backup your Quicken datafile;
    2) Close out of Quicken; then copy the Link below and paste it into your browser

    https://assistant.quicken.com/patch/QW27.1.44.28MPatch.EXE?_ics=1668880738587&irclickid=~fe79Z649572XY5X2459d6XY36Y459cb5-ebgh9~21VNMKFzvojf8

    3) This will start the download of Quicken version 44.28 to your computer.
    4) Once the download of has completed - locate it (likely in your Downloads file). The filename is "QW27.1.44.28MPatch";
    5) Double click on it to install the download and once completed, restart Quicken.

    Let me know if you have any followups and/or tell me how that all went.

    Frankx

    Frankx, thank you for the instruction on going back to a prior version.
    Jasmine -- I created a new test file and it is downloading properly. This makes me think that I have something setup wrong on my original file. How do I debugg this?

    When did you try the new test file? Before or after rolling back the Quicken version?

    Hello @pbrush_,

    Thank you for attempting that test file.

    If you haven't already, I suggest you try to deactivate all accounts for this financial institution, then force Quicken to "discover" all available accounts and see if this will help resolve it. Please, follow the instructions below in order to do so.
    1. Open the Account List in Quicken (Tools > Account List OR Ctrl + A)
    2. If present, select the Show Hidden Accounts checkbox at the bottom of the Account List
    3. Edit each account with this financial institution to Deactivate (or Remove From One Step Update) on the Online Services tab
    4. Click on the General tab and remove any info displayed in the Financial Institution, and Account/Routing Number fields. Note: The account must be deactivated first before these fields can be edited.
    5. When finished, close the Account List
    6. Close, then re-open Quicken
    7. Navigate to Tools > Add Account
    8. Walkthrough this process as if you were going to add a new account, providing the login credentials and answering any security questions/processes presented until you reach the screen where Quicken displays the Accounts Discovered at the financial institution
    9. Very carefully LINK each of the found accounts to the appropriate account you already have set up in Quicken.
    Once that is done, see if the issue still continues to persist.

    Let me know how it goes!

    @pbrush_ if rolling back the Quicken version worked for you, I would just stick with using the older version until Quicken fixes the issue and releases the version with the fix.

    If you decide to do the deactivate / reactivate steps, I recommend taking a backup first so you can restore if things don’t go as expected.

    @pbrush_If the share quantities are missing for options transactions, the main discussion on the issue and the workaround is here:
