Quicken subscription renews in Jan 2023 but I see offers online for discounts. How can I get this discounted price without having to make a whole new account?

If it's for a New User, you can't use it to extend your subscription. Are these offers from Quicken or a 3rd party retailer?Quicken Subscription HBRP - Windows 101

You could contact Quicken Support and see if you can sweet talk them out of one, otherwise it is new account time. Having to reestablish your EWC/EWC+ online accounts and losing QMobile history may or may not make the discount worth it.

@Greg_the_Geek The offers were on Quicken website.
@splasher I am in Singapore so no account connections, basically a standalone use0 -
@web, I would suggest looking at 3rd party retailers (Amazon, Costco, Staples, Walmart...) for a better price on Quicken. You just need the activation code to extend your subscription. Again, make sure it doesn't say New User.Quicken Subscription HBRP - Windows 100

I have had so many problems with Quicken this 2022. All, yes all of my credit cards will not download without hours of my time. Still no solution after 4 months of known problems. I had stock options that suddenly stopped transmitting the purchase and sale price or number, took days each time calling support and little help. Has gone on for months and just fixed. I renew in January and no discounts offered for Quicken that does not work. It used to take me 30 minutes to get everything updated once a week and now it takes me days. The known issues need to get resolved on banking and credit cards. The renewal offer this year should be half given it isn't working. Very sad, never had these problems and have been using Quicken since 1995.-1

I think discounts should extend to existing users considering how unstable the platform is!!!
The latest freezes / hangs (in my case) are related to GetLocalTime calls from qwutil (via qaccess) - according to PerfView. I captured a dump file and ETL trace from trying to open the ledger to my Chase checking account. I don't have the Quicken symbols so can't provide more specific stacks.
I have the ETL and dump file if Quicken support would like to get a copy.0:000> kL # ChildEBP RetAddr 00 0102ac1c 77c42886 ntdll!RtlpTimeToTimeFieldsNoLeapSeconds+0x53 01 0102ac64 77728a09 ntdll!RtlpTimeToTimeFields+0x96 02 0102aca4 77728954 KERNELBASE!LocalFileTimeToLocalSystemTimeInternal+0x3d 03 0102acf4 6b8def46 KERNELBASE!GetLocalTime+0xd4 WARNING: Stack unwind information not available. @kg8bg725 Most of the problems with various banks and financial institutions are caused by those entities making changes to their policies and procedures for tapping into their customer databases, requiring Intuit (Quicken's connectivity service supplier) to have to make changes to keep up. My only suggestions is that if you contacted Quicken Support about a particular financial institution months ago, you may want to try again, as the circumstances have likely changed. (And sometimes, getting a different Support representative can also make a difference.)
@Norman Drews This forum isn't Quicken Support, and is not read by the developers, so posting data here is not going to get your problem resolved. You can use Report a Problem if it's something which is reproducible on demand, or Quicken Support to try to have them see and document the problem you're experiencing.
But you can be certain Quicken isn't going to be cutting its price, especially since the program works fine for many people. (And Quicken executives aren't reading these comments.) You might be able to get a support representative to extend your subscription a few months.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930
