Check number is in the payee spot and no category..LMCU problem or Quicken?

    Check number should be in both Check# and Payee Name field.
    It would take a review of the download log file (OFX log), to see what actually is being downloaded.

    If you haven't done so already, I'd say it's time to call Quicken Support on the phone and request help (after the holiday weekend).  Let them do a screen share session with you to review the situation on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it.
