New Data File

We have used Quicken for years and do manual entry. Effective 1-1-23, our church changed to a new denomination, new name, new EIN and new checking accounts (at same bank as before). We do not want any of the old and new data to mingle. My plan is to create a new data file. Right or wrong?

It sounds like you are wanting to start from scratch with a clean slate. In which case, you are correct in starting a new file. If needed, please refer to this support article for instructions.
I hope this helps!-Quicken Anja
