Duplicated investments when importing Quicken file

Recently got a new computer and went to import my Quicken file. In two of my investment accounts, it appears to have duplicated an investment. For instance, I have an investment called AF NEW PERSPECT R6, and in addition to my original investment (with all cost basis info included), there is now an AF NEW PERSPECT R6 2, which has the total shares but none of the cost basis info. There's nothing in the transactions register I can see creating this new security, but it also can't be deleted, saying it's in use. Most investment accounts imported just fine, but I have two investments that are having this issue. How do I correct it?

    Hello @mistahfine,

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.

Before I can further assist you, I require some more information. Which financial institution are the duplicated securities with? Did you receive any error codes or messages? What exactly occurred when you imported your Quicken File?

I look forward to your response.
