I have been using Quicken for several years. We just purchased a new PC with OneDrive sync. I saw these files for the first time today! The automatic backup preference is set to keep only five copies. Can I safely delete most of these old files?

  • Hello @Old Eagle,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. If they are just old backup files that are no longer needed, you can safely delete them. It isn't a bad idea to keep some of your old backups just in case you need older data that is not in your current file. That said, if you accidentally delete something you do need, it can be difficult to get it back and working correctly. Its always a good idea to make sure the files you do need to keep are saved to your C drive and to a removable drive or cloud drive to help protect against accidental deletion.

    Thank you.
