Duplicate entries in checking account prior to using new software

Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭
I just started using the subscription of Quicken in January 2023 and am finding duplicate entries with dates of 2022.
How did this happen? I used my backup of Quicken13 to start this version.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about this issue. I'm sorry to hear you're running into this problem. To clarify the issue, did connect your financial institutions and some duplicate transactions downloaded, or did these duplicates appear immediately after you restored the backup and it was converted to the subscription version of Quicken?
