Home Tab Dashboard: why are transfers to a different currency considered negative income?

I know the Home tab on the dashboard is a work in progress, but why are transfers to other currencies are reported as negative income? The Home tab doesn't handle mutiple currencies, but it should not treat transfers from one owner account to an other owner account as lost income.
