Trying to open older Quicken file - forgot password (edit)

I wanted to research an old account file and cannot open it because I forgot the password. When I take the option "forgot password" on that screen it tries to sign me into Quicken.com and that will screen will not accept my credentials? When I use the browser to sign into Quicken.com it works fine. Crazy!!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about this issue. I'm sorry to hear you're running into this problem. Is this older account file from a version of Quicken that predates the subscription version of Quicken? Did you have any antivirus, VPN, firewall, or proxy service active that might interfere with Quicken's communication?
