Fraud Bank Charge?
I noticed a charge for quicken I never purchased online. I wanted it, so called quicken once I got my new computer and the tech helped me. I was charged $41.99/month. I was obviously unaware and definitely not being smart. And, the program doesn't work. Has anyone else heard of this problem. Obviously I was scammed.

Are you sure it was Quicken, and not Quickbooks?
NO version of Quicken is priced anywhere near $41.99/month

I don't see a $41.99 price point for Quickbooks either, sounds like they got scammed.

It was from Quicken Inc for 41.88. Sorry. Doing this middle of night.

The original charge was 41.88 back in early March. The monthly charge is 41.99. Well, I stopped payment, increased security, called all financial institutions and so far nothing. They are good.

@ccindgo $41.88 sounds like a Quicken charge: it's the annual fee for Quicken Deluxe, regularly $4.99/mo less a 30% discount = $3.49/mo x 12 months = $41.88.
$41.99 per month? I don't know of any Quicken charge at that level.
I suggest you contact Quicken Support, as they can look at your account and credit card to see what they have charged you. This forum is mostly fellow Quicken users and a few Quicken moderators who don't have the tools to investigate your charges. A link for Support is at the top of this page.
