Cannot reconcile checks (Q Mac)
I can reconcile deposits and debit charge transactions in my bank account with Quicken; however, not checks. To complete the reconciliation for checks, I have to enter an additional amount equal to the checks, in effect, entering checks twice in order to make reconciliation work. I'd appreciate any assistance with this problem. Thanks.

Where, exactly, are you making this entry? Are you telling us that the online balance you're reconciling to NEVER includes any check amounts and you have to make "this entry" in increasingly large amounts as time goes on? It's just not clear.
The problem could be with the Online Balance Quicken is presenting to you. Is that amount actually correct?
