CC-508 with New York Community Bank (NYCB) formerly known as Roslyn Savings Bank
No matter how many times I hit continue on the popup when i sign into mynycb.com - this error keeps showing in Quicken and will NOT update. There is no "permanently remove this notification" option. Resetting the online account does nothing. Please advise.

Hello @cowbawx,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about this issue. I'm sorry to hear you're running into this problem. That error generally comes up when the financial institution servers show that some user action is required. To troubleshoot this issue, follow these steps:
First, refresh your online account information in Quicken
- From your account register, select the Actions gear icon at the upper right of your register (Ctrl + Shift + N).
- Then, select Update now.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
- Repeat these steps for each financial institution experiencing this error.
Then, visit your bank's website
- Sign in to your financial institution's website.
- Navigate to the page you download your account information.
- When you encounter the new web page that requires your response, fill out the requested information and dismiss the screen. This could be a dialog requesting you accept terms of service or a special offer.
If the issue continues, you may need to clear cache and cookies from your browser. The steps below work for most systems, but may vary a bit depending on which version of Windows you use:
- Close Quicken.
- Clear Internet History & Cookies.
- Click the Start button and select Control Panel. In Windows 10, the Control Panel is located in the Windows System folder in the Start menu.
- Select Network and Internet > Internet Options.
- Under Browsing history, click Delete.
- Make sure there is a check next to Temporary Internet Files. The other checkmarks are optional.
- Click Delete.
- Then click OK when done.
- Log in to your financial institution's website and accept Cookies and any security measures, as requested by the site.
- Open Quicken and try your update again.
Thank you.

Thanks, but not really. Already read that article. #1, I already told you i CANNOT permanently remove the popup. It happens _every_ _single_ _time_ i login to the website. #2, internet options? Are you honestly telling me to go to Internet Explorer's cache and delete cookies? Are you still using internet explorer? Did you even know Microsoft retired it already? Anything else you can try? Can you contact NYCB and have them correct this, perhaps? Thank you.0

"Continue to Online Banking" is the only option i have.0

Just to confirm - I already tried the steps you mentioned above before posting this. Did not work at all.0

Thank you for your reply,
If you haven't already tried clearing cache and cookies in whichever browser you use when you log into your financial institution's web site, I'd recommend you do so, then log into the financial institution website to accept any cookies or security measures that come up.
If the issue keeps happening after that, you would need to contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance as they can walk you through troubleshooting steps in real-time and escalate the situation as needed. The Quicken Support phone number can be found through this link here. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.
I apologize that I could not be of more assistance!

Thank you for your reply,
We are able to do some troubleshooting via the forum and it gives users a chance to help each other. Quicken support over the phone has access to tools that we do not, so when the issue is beyond the scope of what we're able to assist you with on the forum, we refer to phone support.
Thank you.
