Unable to post a link in the Quicken Community answer window.
On occasion, someone will ask a question in the Quicken Community that has been previously asked and answered. I copy the link to that answer and attempt to post it but when I try to paste the link in the Quicken answer window, the link displays then quickly disappears and is displayed by another item. I have attached a screen shot to this message. Double click the jpg screen shot to see the actual window that appears when the link disappears.
Does anyone know why the link won't appear when pasted?

@The Keeper if you are trying to paste a link to a specific comment, there is a bug with the forum software that does not handle the link very well. Here is an example, spaces inserted to keep the forum software from mangling it:
https:// community quicken com / discussion / comment / 20336532 / #Comment_20336532And the forum software creates what looks like a picture with no "View Post" button:
You can click on the date in the "picture" to go to the linked comment.

What steps are you taking to post a link? I use the copy-and-paste keyboard functions with a URL and that seems to work (see below).

Thank you for a response. When I want to copy a link, I highlight the URL in the address bar, right click and select copy and then paste it into the answer window by using the keyboard command Ctrl V

That is the same process that I use as well. Sometimes Vanilla (the behind-the-scenes of the site) likes to act up a bit. Have you attempted refreshing the page and trying again? Is this occurring with every thread that you try to post a link in or just specific ones?

I have tried refreshing the page and yes, it is occurring with every thread that I try to post. I am using Windows 11, so thinking perhaps it might be a Windows 11 problem, I tried using a laptop with Windows 10, however the same thing occurred.
Since this happens on two different Windows operating systems, might it be a bug in the Quicken program?

@The Keeper it was a team effort. The Super Users have been discussing and reporting issues with the forum software - this is just one of the issues discussed/reported.
