Quicken takes a long time to load now
Ever since loading version R48.15 the load time for quicken has greatly increased and sometimes times out so that it becomes necessary to load the program. Also update times have gone from 3 minutes to some times as long as six minutes. Has anyone else had this problem and how was it solved?

Have you tried Validating your file?

I have done that and the file was fine. There was no change in performance after the file validation.

What version of Windows are you running?
How much RAM do you have installed?
When / after Quicken starts, how much total RAM is in use? (Task Manager will tell you: xx% Memory)0 -
Windows 11 home v 21H2 with 16 g of ram. 33% is in use after quicken is loaded.

I thought, the latest Windows patch level was called 22H2. Are you sure you aren't a little behind on Windows Updates?
To make sure that Quicken is allowed to update and save its configuration files please check if Windows Defender Controlled Folder Access feature Ransomware protection is enabled.
If it is, configure it to add Quicken as an "allowed app" without turning off Ransomware protection. Perform the last step in0
