One Step Update does not complete

One Step update will not complete, it runs for 15-20 minutes and does not complete.

Update was never quick but it won't complete since yesterday (4/28/23). In addition, after the most recent update, I ended up restoring my file from backup. Since then i Cannot update. I looked online and manually downloaded 49.22 patch.

    Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about this issue.  I'm sorry to hear you're running into this problem. To make sure I'm understanding the issue correctly, your Quicken program updated and after that, you had to restore from a backup. Ever since you restored that backup file, One Step Update runs for 15-20 minutes and never finishes; manually downloading and installing patch 49.22 did not help. Is that correct?

    What is happening at the 15-20 minute point? Is the program apparently frozen and that's the point where you decide to kill it using task manager? If not, then what does happen? Are you getting any error messages or error codes? Is the program crashing?

    Do you keep your Quicken file on your C drive or is it on a shared network drive?  Is your Quicken file synced with any cloud service, such as One Drive or Dropbox (if it is, you will usually see the service name listed in the file location)? 

    The simplest way to check your file location, if you have Quicken up and the file open, is to click on File, then look near the bottom of the list, just above where it says Exit.  It will list the file locations for the 4 Quicken files you have most recently accessed, with the one you are currently in at the #1 spot.
