I have entered all income and expenses, reconciled each and now I want to be able to print reports by each "structure", i.e. business, rental property and then personal. I want to be able to see my profit and/or loss by each area.

Assuming that you have each "area" set up in its own Category Group, you might use the report at Reports > Banking > Cash flow.

Set the Column to Don't subtotal or your chosen time interval.

Click on the gear to customize and on the Display tab, next to Organization pick Category Group.

Unfortunately the groups are listed in alphabetical order.

Which reports do you want to see this in? And, are you running HBR?

Since I am used to seeing reports from Quickbooks, a P & L would be awesome to see. My goal is to see what is being spent in each area ( home/personal expenses, rental property income and expenses and business income and expenses )
