Is Quicken ID transferrable? - work computer with work email, etc

Question

Installing Quicken software on the company's computer requires a work email, work phone number, and a customized password to register a Quicken Account (Quicken ID).

Is the Quicken account (Quicken ID) transferrable if the information on file needs to be updated by another person? Please instruct the steps to follow. Thank you.

Hello @pettycash,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.  Are you talking about permanently handing the account over to someone else, or talking about sharing account access with someone else?  If you're sharing account access, then you'd just need to share the login credentials with the other person.  If this is permanently handing account access over to someone else, you would want to update the profile with the new Quicken ID and phone number, and if you're not comfortable telling them the password you have been using, you can create a new one, if you'd like.  You can access your profile by going to Help>Manage Your Subscription>My Quicken Account.  Once the account windows comes up, select Sign in & Security.  That is where you'll be able to update the Quicken ID and the Phone Number.  You can also change the password from there if you want (eg - set it to something generic so the person taking over the account can get logged in, then they'd be able to change it to something more secure if they'd like).
