this may be connected to (Ticket # 10239739, CTP-6776) - but I need to add...
after the connect failure, the online connect configuration for the account disappeared. When I attempt to re-create I still get CC-502 error.

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.
A CC-502 error is caused by maintenance on the bank's servers that Quicken uses to download transactions. You may follow this link to access a FAQ that provides some troubleshooting steps as well as more information regarding this error message. Please keep in mind that it is recommended to save a backup before proceeding (just in case).
