citibank updating (not)

Quicken Deluxe ver. R49.29, Build 27.1.49.29
Windows 8.1 (I'm working on upgrading)

Quicken hasn't been able to update my Citibank checking account since early April. I had closed a cred card and thought that might be part of the problem. Now Quicken has a little icon that suggests the card account is closed. So I assume that's not my problem.

I tried re-setting the account today, but Quicken said I have no checking account. So I proceeded with the re-setting and soon was told that TWO checking accounts were updated for 1692 days. But the register (only one) looks just the same, with all my manually entered transactions sporting the little red pencil icon.

Tried updating again and I'm back to CC-501, can't update because of an error on the Quicken server.

Any suggestions? (The account looks fine at citibank.com.)

Thanks,

Jeanne
