How do I change the name of the data file?

Use Windows File Explorer, navigate to the Quicken folder in the Documents folder, right-click the file's name and select "Rename."

When you next open Quicken you'll File > Open Quicken File and then click on the newly named data file.

After you have renamed the data file, if you double click on it in Windows Explorer, Quicken will start with that renamed data file and add it to the recent file list on the File menu.

If you click on the old filename in the recent file list, Quicken will state that it can't find the file and offer to remove the old filename from the recent file list.
