Issue with American Express update to authorize accounts

I received an email about changing the update method for my AMEX account. I tried to follow the directions, but AMEX did not request a new UPDATE method and is still using Express Web Connect. I tried Resetting the Account, reauthorized the Account, and it is still on Express Web Connect. Any ideas?

Same issue here. Repeated requests to reauthorize Amex; opens website, I log in, etc. Doesn't work…

Before I can further assist you, I require some more information. Are you going through the reauthorization process and it shows as successful even though it is not? Are you able to download transactions? Is it showing as EWC+ after completing the reauthorization? What exactly is occurring during the reauthorization and after?
