Converting a liability to loan

I'm trying to convert a car loan from a liability to a loan, but when I connect the financial account to Quicken, it appears to comes over as a cash balance so when I attempt convert o a loan, it can't. Any thoughts?

    Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about this issue.  I'm sorry to hear you're running into this problem. Could you please provide more information about what is happening? Are you adding it as a new account and it is coming over as the wrong type of account? Is it linking to an incorrect existing account? Which financial institution is it with?
