    Hello @snookerjoe,

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.

Before I can further assist you, I require some more information. Which financial institution are you experiencing this issue with? What is the connection method with said financial institution? You can see the connection method by navigating to Tools > Account List. Are you receiving any error codes or messages? What exactly occurs when attempting to download transactions?

I look forward to your response.

I am using Synovus financial (mysynovus). Using Win10 Home Deluxe. When I update my accounts from Synovus the update program goes through the normal process of "processing data and downloading transactions". Even though I have transactions reconciled from 2 weeks ago at my financial institution they are not showing up in my Quicken register. No transactions are showing up. I did think to right click the apply button after the recent quicken update was installed and that did help but I still have transactions not showing on my register.

    Hello @farnhadb01,

Thank you for providing more information.

First, I suggest you try to deactivate all accounts for this financial institution, then force Quicken to "discover" all available accounts and see if this will help resolve it. Please, follow the instructions below in order to do so. It is recommended to save a backup before proceeding (just in case).

    1. Open the Account List in Quicken (Tools > Account List OR Ctrl + A)
    2. If present, select the Show Hidden Accounts checkbox at the bottom of the Account List
    3. Edit each account with this financial institution to Deactivate (or Remove From One Step Update) on the Online Services tab
    4. Click on the General tab and remove any info displayed in the Financial Institution, and Account/Routing Number fields. Note: The account must be deactivated first before these fields can be edited.
    5. When finished, close the Account List
    6. Close, then re-open Quicken
    7. Navigate to Tools > Add Account
    8. Walkthrough this process as if you were going to add a new account, providing the login credentials and answering any security questions/processes presented until you reach the screen where Quicken displays the Accounts Discovered at the financial institution
    9. Very carefully LINK each of the found accounts to the appropriate account you already have set up in Quicken.

Once that is done, see if the issue still continues to persist.

Let us know how it goes!

Quicken Jasmine — I have same issue with Quicken not downloading all transactions from my bank (USAA) and credit card (Bank of America Visa) accounts. Connection through UPDATE now works, but not downloading and synchronizing with line item / register entries as usual. SOME new transactions download, but missing most transactions. No error code. Just missing transactions/downloads. I went through all steps 1-9 you listed and Quicken identified and re-connects to each institution and account (Quicken recognizes the login credentials and finds the accounts online). It goes through UPDATE NOW again and completes without downloading transactions again :\ What to do?

Transactions are not downloading from Bank of America. I have deactivated and reactivated all of the accounts, singly and in aggregate. What other steps can be taken to keep the accounts downloading on a consistent basis?

I have been having the same issue with most of my accounts for the past 2 years. Have deactivated them all and reactivated and then the beginning balances were off by hundreds of thousands of dollars. I am still trying to figure out how to fix the mess and have been working on it constantly for the past 2 weeks. Then when I fix an account and try to set up the reminders to enter automatically, it appears to save the settings and a few minutes later the settings have reverted. I have done that with every reminder twice! I have been a quicken user for 30 years and am so frustrated, I am about to abandon it! If only I could find another software that would import my data. but since I can't trust my data, what do I have to lose?. I have talked to your support agents for hours and no help and no fixes!

And now Quicken just locks up and crashes every time I try to run an update either for an individual account or using the One Step Update! Please fix as soon as possible. Quicken was supposed to save me time (and has for most of the past 30 years) but now it totally consumes my time every time I try to update my finances.
