Cannot reauthorize Capital One Mastercard on Quicken (Deluxe) Canada on macOS
Version 7.1.0 (Build 701.49333.100)
Mac Studio M1 Max running macOS Ventura 13.4
All of a sudden, Quicken asked me to reauthorize Capital One. No problem! Except that the username and password I can use to log on successfully in the browser are rejected, with a message asking "Did you mistype your sing-in info? Please re-enter your credentials for Capital One Platinum - CA." I even changed my login password with Capitol One. Still no problem logging in to the website, but still no go in Quicken!
I called Capital One for support, and they were of absolutely no help! They suggested that I "reinstall Quicken", which I immediately told them I was NOT going to do!
I see that other users have had issues with Capital One accounts in the past. Is this a Quicken issue? Will it be resolved soon?
If I am able to help with debugging, I am more than happy to assist!
All of my accounts with other financial institutions are working perfectly, as always.

Hello @lenbbear,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community to tell us about your issue, though I apologize that you are experiencing this.
If you haven't already, I suggest you try signing out of your data file completely and then signing back in to refresh the registration token for your Online Connect Services. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.- Navigate to the Quicken dropdown menu
- Sign Out...
- Sign back in using your Quicken ID (email) and password
- Follow the prompts to be taken back to your data file after signing in
Once that is done, see if the issue still persists.
Let us know how it goes!-Quicken Anja
