Ford Credit NOT working with Quicken
Ford Credit is using an account verification code after you log in to get final access to your account information and balance.
Quicken has NO option to work with a verification code as you attempt so using Express Web Connect.
Result Ford Credit just will NOT update with Quicken. A user has NO idea what their account activities are or balance updates.
Ford will not work with Quicken. Quicken will not work with Ford. You know the old circle jerk.
User is left in the lurch. Sorry buddy you're paying for a product that only sort of works with ALL vendors.
Blea. Been dealing with this for months. NO resolve.

Hello @S_G_Davis_1,
Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.
Before I can further assist you, I require some more information. What exactly occurs when attempting to add an account with Ford Credit? Do you receive any error codes or messages?
I look forward to your response.

Error CC-503. Then Quickens "explanation" for the error is uselessly not helpful at all. Ford has changed access with a double verification process. They send a code via "email", you enter the code. You're in. It seems Quicken cannot deal with this. So, I cannot see any balance updates or changes to the account. Just fails to work, like I said. My bank does a double verification, but somehow Quicken works with my bank. Not with Ford. Imagine if all banks double verification fails with Quicken. Quicken would NOT be selling much to consumers.
I have contacted Ford. They said that's their process. Deal with it. There is a lot of Ford loans out there, meaning allot of finance double verification, with an email, going on. I might think more vendors might be changing to double verification with emails, with all the fraud and other issues with online stealing happening. But again, it seems Quicken does not deal with vendors doing a double verification before you actually seeing much of your loan. Who knows someday maybe it might be triple verification might be showing up.

I did do your "support article" and… it did not work. [Removed - Violation of Community Guidelines/Sarcasm]
Reason I believe your support fails is the vendor, in this case Ford, has a double verification step. [Removed - Violation of Community Guidelines/Disruptive] You log in with a user name and password. You get a response back (via a text to the phone) then you put in another verification. Your direct connect system has no place to receive a second verification via an email or text back from Ford and then to put in another verification code. Keeping in mind the code changes every time you log in you are putting in a different code every time. Have not seen your direct connect system do that.
Oh I also tried the deactive step. That also failed. Once deactivated I could not reactive it … cause guess why … need put in a double verification code that changes every time.
So back to Quicken and Ford Credit …. neither one works with the other. Basically, users cannot keep track or follow their accounts with Ford Credit using Quicken.
So got another idea.
