Principal Funds won't connect - Doesn't display MFA prompt
When I try to connect to Principal Funds using either "Add Account" or clicking to "Activate One Step Update", I enter my username and password and it connects and recognizes my financial accounts at Principal Financial and it links them to the same financial accounts inside Quicken. When I click "Next" at the linking to my accounts screen, I get a popup window asking for my Principal Password again but there is no input box to enter my password again, so I am stuck in a loop and can not update add /activate the One Step Update for Principal Financial. (See screenshot below for this exact popup window and the point where it occurs)
When I click on the OK button, I get the following screen from Quicken:
When I login to Principal Financial directly through their website (not through Quicken), after I login, I get prompted for MFA and it asks me which MFA factor I would like to use for my MFA authentication. I am speculating that Quicken might not be understanding when that question comes back from Principal Financial to Quicken, and it is showing a password popup window (with no place to enter anything) instead.
This has been going on for over 9 months now (since Principal Financial enabled MFA on my account) and I am finally now getting around to submitting this support request for it.
I am running Quicken for Windows Version R50.14, Build 27.1.50.14.
I can send log files to Quicken support as needed, but since they contain personal information, I don't want to post them in this community discussion thread.
