Online setup

I have a few accounts that I have not been using the online transactions downloads and instead have been entering transactions manually.

I tried to set up online transaction download for these accounts, was able to set it up successfully but ran into the following problem.

The intial download of transactions downloads the last one year worth of transactions. The transactions number into several hundreds and these are already in my register and accounts have been reconciled with statements etc.

It is not practical for me to go and delete the downloaded transactions one by one.

Is there a way to ask Quicken not to download any transactions during set up?

or to delete all downloaded transactions in one shot?

    Hello @User23,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about this issue.  I'm sorry to hear you're running into this problem. While there isn't a way to limit how much history Quicken pulls in when you first connect it, there is a way to keep it from automatically going into your account register. Go to Edit>Preferences>Downloaded Transactions. There will be an option to Automatically add to banking registers. Uncheck that box and select OK. That should change your settings to download new transactions into a section below the register for you to review and manually accept.

    Thank you.
