Taking the liberty of speaking for the community here, this solution does not help. It does nothing to restore years of lost splits data - you would have to restore a backup so old that you'd lose years of newer non-split data; that is clearly not a solution. And turning off Cloud Sync? That's a valuable feature, arguably the primary reason Quicken can justify a pricey annual subscription - but one has to turn it off in order for Quicken to work properly?! I've been a loyal Quicken user, a fangirl even, since ~1995. But the last few years I'm just flabbergasted at the condition of your software and service. Over and over this same non-solution is posted in threads similar to this one. It doesn't work for anyone. Yet it's still the only solution posted. And there's no acknowledgement by Quicken anywhere that there is a serious underlying problem, that you are actively working to correct, with a timeline for a fix. Please, Quicken - you can do better! Help your loyal followers, escalate this issue, and get a fix in place. And thanks for the many years of good product & service.
