Windows Canada R51.xx Release


The latest Quicken for Windows Canada release R51.11 is now available to all Quicken Canada customers.

Before you take this update, we recommend you perform a One Step Update to ensure that your data is synced to the cloud and also make a backup of your data file.

What’s New

  • Added an Ignore all accounts / Ignore all linked accounts option to the Add Account process. This will aid customers with many accounts. They will no longer need to deselect each account they do not want to add.

What’s Improved

  • Improved automatic column sizing for the Investment Income report.
  • Improved the Investment Performance report by optimizing vertical space, removing unnecessary elements, enabling sorting functionality, setting the default to no cash-flow detail, adding a Show detail toolbar button, and fixing a truncation issue.
  • Updated the Transaction Attachment dialog by changing the background color and adding a gray border around the thumbnails section to improve readability and differentiate the attachment previews.
  • The application now displays an indicator on the bills dashboard to inform customers when a reminder instance has split categories. This indicator shows the number of splits and, upon hover, lists the split categories along with their corresponding amounts.

What’s Fixed

  • Issues occurred when launching Quicken when an Auto Reminder was set up within a file.
  • An issue in which the auto enter reminder setting was turned off after cloud sync.
  • Fixed an issue where the Alternate Background Color was not visible in rows on reports when a maximum data filter was applied.
  • Fixed an issue where transactions were not being entered when the reminders were set to auto-enter.
  • Fixed an issue in the IRR (Internal Rate of Return) report and other investment reports, such as the Portfolio Value report, where Asset Classes did not sort correctly.
  • Performing a mobile sync resulted in transaction history issues.
  • Fixed an issue where attachments were uploaded to the cloud for an unsynchronized account.
  • Fixed an issue where users could not differentiate between file formats in the Transaction Attachment window by adding specific icons for file formats.
  • Fixed an issue where exporting a report to Excel would incorrectly convert memo entries consisting of digits only into numeric values instead of retaining the original format.
  • Fixed an issue where downloaded transactions did not match manually entered transactions as expected.
  • Issues causing application errors/crashes.
