Hi. I'm experiencing this same error code with UBS. All of my UBS accounts are not downloading and reporting error 16503.

Hi Kristina, Answers to your earlier questions…
Have you recently changed your password with UBS? No…
Are you able to log into UBS's website? Yes…
Do you have any inactive or closed UBS accounts that are still trying to connect in your Quicken? No…

Another interesting note, the Account settings for a UBS account fails on "Update Login" with the error "Unable to determine the financial institution". However, the "Login & Connection" information is (below). The Financial Institution is known… why the "Unable to determine the financial institution" error?
Also, trying to "Change Connection" returns the 16503 error during the password validation. And finally, disconnecting the reconnecting the account returns the same 16503 error. It seems like Quicken is not even talking to UBS.
Financial Institution: UBS Financial Services Inc.
Connection Type: Direct Connect
Intra-bank Transfer: Unavailable (greyed out)
Routing Number: ubs.com

Hello @kenjo,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about this issue. I'm sorry to hear you're running into this problem. There is a known connection issue with UBS, but the error code associated with that known issue is different from what you are reporting. I recommend that you contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance as they have access to tools that I do not and can escalate the situation as needed. The Quicken Support phone number can be found through this link here. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.
I apologize that I could not be of more assistance!
Quicken Kristina
