Good Alternatives to the Emergency Records Organizer???

Hi all,

After a few years away from Quicken I'm slowly diving back in. I used to rely on the Emergency Records Organizer but it sounds like it could be fully deprecated at any time, and in the mean time is not supported - "Quicken Home Inventory and Emergency Records Organizer (ERO) are no longer supported" ( https://www.quicken.com/support/installing-quicken-home-inventory-and-emergency-records-organizer ).

What other programs providing ERO functionality are members of the community finding to be good, secure, alternatives??? Preferably not cloud-based, and preferably including most of… individuals emergency info (MDs etc); individuals important info (contact info); legal documents info like location of wills, power of attorney, etc. grouped by person; property info (home mortgage, auto); and miscellaneous accounts (for instance online accounts and their passwords).

Thank you!

Oops! Quicken and any stand-alone ERO-type program will be on a PC of modern vintage (a couple years old) running Windows 11.

Note that the names of any potentially competing products will probably be removed from your posts.

But you can vote on this Idea to request that the Quicken ERO be updated.

One of the potential advantages of having the ERO integrated with Quicken is that accounts, account numbers, contact info, account balances, etc. could be automatically updated when the corresponding info in Quicken changes.

For me, an important feature would be the ability to track which bills are paid automatically and which must be paid manually by check or online at the bank. This is a bigger issue now that bank bill pay via Direct Connect is mostly unavailable.

    Thank you Jim!

Hmmm… didn't realize product recommendations were frowned on. Let's leave the post up a bit and see if any do make it through.

I'm a step ahead of you - I added my two cents to the link you provided before you provided it! Then I came here to ask for alternatives because until ERO is supported (or at least we're guaranteed it won't be fully deprecated) I think a healthy, supported alternative is safest for our important info.
