Quicken changing Venmo payee name

Recently a download from my bank of a Venmo payment was entered by Quicken as from Guardian Life Insurance, one of my payees. The payment was to my grandson for his birthday, and his name is nowhere close to Guardian Life Insurance Co. Why would Quicken assign a random payee to a download item from my bank instead of using whatever the bank had entered? This makes no sense.

If you haven't done so already, I'd say it's time to call Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation and request help. Let them do a screen share session with you to review the situation on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it.
