On my Q2013 go up to Edit - Preferences - Startup

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

    Hello @tevans9129_,

The setting to select a specific account you want opened upon starting Quicken is in fact located in the same area that @volvogirl mentioned. Even in the subscription version.

You can set this up by navigating to Edit > Preferences > Startup. Then, under Startup location, click on the dropdown menu next to On startup open to: and scroll down until you see Banking Accounts (see screenshot example below). Under this section, you will start to see the names of each account you have in Quicken and can select the account you wish to have Quicken open with.

Hope this helps, and let us know if you have any additional questions!
