Can't unsubscribe from bookmarked posts

I've turned off the bookmarking on a couple posts I've been following recently. But I continue (days later) receiving email notifications for every comment made on those previously bookmarked posts.

At the top of each post, the "bookmark" icon is blank (unselected).

If I click on my Bookmarks from my profile, the list is empty.

BUT the system still thinks that I have 3 bookmarked posts, and I continue getting lots of emails!

Please help me make it stop! 😱 Thanks,

if you “post” to a thread… you are glued and can’t unsubscribe like you can with bookmarks

Correct. Bookmarks have nothing to do with it. This forum disallows un-follwing any thread once you've posted to it. All you can do is turn off email notifications. We have complained about this to no avail.

This usually happens when you have previously bookmarked posts that have since been archived.
We will pass this along to the proper channels to have this corrected.
