Can I access an online version of quicken classic with my current subscription? And can I then use my phone and my desktop to make entries, etc.

There is no "online" version of Quicken Classic.

The name change was purely to separate it from their purely online product. Neither product has any different features.

It seems part of my comment got cutoff somehow.

Quicken Classic is still a Desktop application with a Mobile/Web app that can view a partial copy/features that are available on the Desktop. You sync one or more accounts from Quicken Classic Desktop to the "Cloud dataset" that the Mobile/Web apps access to view transactions and make entries and such. Note that the "Quicken Cloud Service/Cloud dataset" also activity downloads transactions into the Quicken Cloud dataset for display on the Mobile/Web app and syncing to the Desktop app at a later time.

Is there an online version of quicken that is a full program that is only used online? That can be accessed through phone or desktop? If so, does it work well?

Quicken on the Web, and Quicken Mobile, are companion tools to Quicken Classic. They are more limited in functionality than the desktop app. They do serve to make entries and many other functions.

@ralphhere If you're looking for a fully online solution, Quicken Simplifi may fit your needs best rather than Quicken Classic. It can be accessed through a web browser on a computer rather than through an installed desktop app, or through mobile apps for iOS and Android. Quicken Classic is built around a locally installed desktop app, and only has limited mobile and web functionality (and the mobile and web functionality that it does offer is still dependent on the local desktop app, which is where the data is ultimately stored). You'll need to look at the following page to see if this will work for you: https://www.quicken.com/products/simplifi/

There is also a dedicated community for Quicken Simplifi here: https://community.simplifimoney.com/
