How to get data from Quicken online restored to desktop (edit)
I have a file with 2 years of info online. My computer crashed and lost the desktop file that I had originally started. I want my online version to download onto my desktop because online is so limited with functionality. Does anyone have a good solution, perhaps sending to another software to convert the file, etc? Tech support says that you cant go from online to desktop and I find that wildly hard to believe as this is very outdated thinking, especially for all the new updating that Quicken did.

What file do you have online? Is it saved in a backup program? The Online version is not the Quicken program but just a mobile app and subset of your data. It can't be used as a backup.

I have not tried it, but there was a post that one person was able to get some data out of Quicken Web by exporting using to CSV and then using my program (ImportQIF) to import it back into a Quicken data file.
